Below is an example of a typical schedule. Participation in all activities is entirely voluntary, and we would hate pupils to feel obliged to take part if at any stage they would rather be resting, walking or reading. We do, however, aim to help students get the most out of their time with us.
A typical day:
9-10am Breakfast
10.30am Morning lesson begins, usually kicking off with some warm up drawing exercises
1.30pm Lunch
3.00pm Afternoon lesson
5.00pm Class ends - Group Discussion on the day's work
7.00pm Cocktails
8.00pm Dinner

Prices
Prices range from £2,200 to £5,500 (exc.VAT) per room depending on location (Arniano, Pylewell Park, Palazzo Parisi, Ilias) and bedroom choice.
All prices are full board, inclusive of luxury accommodation, home-cooked meals by Amber Guinness, all drinks, tuition and basic art materials, including boards for painting on, easels, and brush cleaning fluid.
Because many painters like to bring their own brushes and paints we do not include these in the price. However we can supply a boxed set of paints and brushes at a separate additional cost of £260.

We ask for a non-refundable 50% deposit to secure a booking, the balance to be settled 3 weeks before the start date.
In order to make a booking onto one of the Arniano Painting School courses, we must receive pay a non-refundable deposit (which will be an agreed percentage of the total amount due or payment in full depending on when you make your booking). Once the deposit or payment in full has been received and cleared, we will confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due 6-8 weeks before the course begins. Should the booking be made two months or less before the course begins, the payment is due in full at the time of booking. The Arniano Painting School reserves the right to cancel a booking where the payment has not been made in full on the due date. If the guest fails to complete payment, this will be treated as a cancellation by the client and their deposit shall be retained.
CANCELLATION TERMS:
If a guest wishes to cancel a booking more than 12 weeks before their arrival we must receive a written request. Refunds are only made if a replacement guest is found for the period you have cancelled. If a replacement is only found for a part of the period you have cancelled, or at a cheaper rate, or with additional costs to The Arniano Painting School (eg advertisement or agency fees), then a refund will only be made after those deductions have been taken into account. In any event, even if a replacement guest is found, a cancellation charge of 20% of the total course cost will be charged.
If a replacement can be found and you wish to carry over your deposit to another course at a future date, this will be done subject to availability, and with the deductions above stipulated, to be reflected in your balancing invoice.
If no replacement tenant can be found or if you cancel less than 12 weeks before the start of the course then no refund shall be payable in any circumstances, however you may be able to make a claim against their insurance company.
Early departures by the client or any of your party, where The Arniano Painting School is not at fault, will not be refunded.
Cancellation by The Arniano Painting School

If it is cheaper, The Arniano Painting School will refund the difference. In connection with a cancelled or altered holiday, The Arniano Painting School will not be liable for any costs owed to or paid to any company or individual.
b) A refund of 30% of the deposit will be made by The Arniano Painting School if The Arniano Painting School is obliged to cancel all or part of the booking through no fault of our own, or due to circumstances beyond The Arniano Painting School’s control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all reasonable care had been taken, or the occurrence of which could not have been either foreseen, or forestalled.
